Limited Manufacturer's Warranty

Canadian Tactical Solutions (CTS) warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service.

All products are covered by a One (1) Year Limited Manufacturer's Warranty from the date of delivery against verified defects in materials or workmanship. This warranty applies solely to manufacturing defects and does not cover damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, improper storage, unauthorized modification, accidents, normal wear and tear, or use outside the product's intended purpose.

Examples of covered defects may include:

• Defective stitching or seam failure

• Material defects

• Hardware failures

• Delamination resulting from manufacturing defects

• Manufacturing or assembly defects affecting intended performance

To initiate a warranty claim, customers must provide proof of purchase and supporting documentation, including photographs of the alleged defect. Products must not be returned without prior authorization from CTS.

Tactical Equipment, Apparel & Accessories Warranty

Tactical equipment, plate carriers, chest rigs, tactical vests, load-bearing equipment, pouches, belts, apparel, bags, packs, and accessories manufactured or sold by CTS are covered by the One (1) Year Limited Manufacturer's Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear

• Cosmetic damage

• Abrasion from regular use

• Damage caused by improper fitment or adjustment

• Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper maintenance

• Unauthorized repairs, alterations, or modifications

• Exposure to chemicals, excessive heat, fire, solvents, or environmental conditions beyond intended use

CTS reserves the right to repair, replace, or otherwise resolve approved claims at its sole discretion.

Ballistic Product Limited Warranty

CTS ballistic products are covered by a Five (5) Year Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, proper storage, and appropriate care.

This warranty applies solely to manufacturing defects and does not cover:

• Excessive wear and tear

• Improper storage or maintenance

• Product misuse or abuse

• Unauthorized modifications or alterations

• Damage resulting from accidents, negligence, or improper handling

• Exposure to conditions outside intended use

Any ballistic product displaying evidence of misuse, neglect, unauthorized modification, or physical damage unrelated to a manufacturing defect may be excluded from warranty coverage at the sole discretion of CTS.

Ballistic Incident Replacement Program

CTS recognizes and appreciates the service of law enforcement officers, military personnel, security professionals, first responders, and responsible civilians who rely on protective equipment in the lawful performance of their duties and personal protection.

If a CTS ballistic product successfully stops a ballistic threat while being lawfully worn during active duty, professional service, or lawful personal defense, CTS will replace the affected ballistic product at no cost to the owner.

To qualify for replacement under this program, customers must provide:

• Proof of ownership or purchase

• Applicable police report, occurrence report, or incident number where available

• Supporting photographs and documentation upon request

The impacted product must be returned to CTS for inspection and documentation unless otherwise directed by CTS.

For approved claims under this program, CTS will cover all reasonable costs associated with replacement of the affected product, including shipping charges.

Product Performance Disclaimer

Body armor and ballistic protection products are designed to help reduce the risk of serious injury or death from specific threats when properly fitted, worn, and maintained.

No body armor, ballistic plate, helmet, shield, carrier, or protective equipment can guarantee complete protection against all threats, injuries, or circumstances. The effectiveness of ballistic products depends on numerous factors, including but not limited to:

• Threat type and caliber

• Ammunition composition and velocity

• Number and location of impacts

• Angle of impact

• Environmental conditions

• Product condition and age

• Proper fit, wear, and maintenance

While CTS products are manufactured to meet applicable specifications and performance standards where stated, the use of ballistic protection does not eliminate the possibility of injury, serious bodily harm, or death.

By purchasing and using CTS products, the customer acknowledges and accepts these inherent limitations and risks.

Warranty Claim Procedures

To submit a warranty claim, customers must provide:

• Original proof of purchase

• Photographs of the product and alleged defect

• Any supporting documentation reasonably requested by CTS

Products approved for return must be shipped in accordance with instructions provided by CTS.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise specified by CTS or covered under the Ballistic Incident Replacement Program.

CTS reserves the right to inspect, evaluate, approve, deny, repair, replace, or otherwise resolve all warranty claims at its sole discretion.

CTS further reserves the right to deny coverage for products used in armed conflicts, military operations, acts of war, insurrection, criminal activity, or circumstances deemed outside the intended scope of this warranty or replacement program.

Final Sale Policy

Due to the protective nature, compliance requirements, hygiene considerations, and chain-of-custody concerns associated with ballistic equipment, all body armor sales are final.

Except where prohibited by applicable law, ballistic products are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange once delivered, except in cases of verified manufacturing defects covered under this warranty policy.

Non-ballistic products may be eligible for return or exchange in accordance with the CTS Return Policy.
